What is NWT Hunter Education?
NWT Hunter Education is a seven-module course designed to teach hunters of all backgrounds and experience levels how to be respectful of wildlife, people, the environment and themselves while hunting. It is not meant to replace traditional, hands-on knowledge learned from elders or mentors.
Whenever possible, you should always find experienced hunters in your community to learn from and hunt with.
How do I complete the course?
Create a login profile with a username and password.
Take the chapters and complete the quizzes at your own pace.
When you are finished all of the chapters and quizzes, you will get a completion certificate.
Take the completion certificate to your local ENR Office, where the ENR Officer will verify your certificate and sign and date it.
