How to Book your California Hunter Safety Follow-up Class
Once you have completed the online portion of the Study Guide you must attend the 4-hour Follow-up Class in order to finalize training, pass your final written exam, and get your California Hunter Safety Education Certificate.
The 4-hour Follow-up class will consist of a number of different hands-on activities and a written final exam. The class is conducted by a DFW-certified hunter education instructor.
To locate and sign up for a Follow-up Class in your area, go to the California Department of Fish & Wildlife website at www.dfg.ca.gov. You will not be admitted to the class without a valid Follow-up Class Voucher.
In order to obtain the California Hunter Education Certificate, you must pass both the online AND Classroom portions of the Hunter Safety Course.
